The Financial Times Executive Education Open Programmes 2026 ranking places Centrum PUCP 20th worldwide, fifth in Latin America and first in Peru following a 24-place rise in two years.
LIMA, Peru — Peru has strengthened its presence in global executive education. Centrum PUCP, the graduate business school of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, has reached 20th place worldwide in the Financial Times Executive Education Open Programmes 2026 ranking.
The result makes Centrum PUCP the only Peruvian business school among the world’s top 20 providers of open-enrolment executive education. The school also ranks fifth in Latin America and first in Peru.
Its progress has been consistent and significant. Centrum PUCP rose from 44th place in 2024 to 29th in 2025 and 20th in 2026, advancing 24 positions in two years and nine positions over the past year.
“This international recognition sends a clear message to executives and the business community in Peru seeking world-class professional development: it is now possible to access executive education with global standards in the country, without having to travel abroad,” said Ruben Guevara, Director General of Centrum PUCP.

The Financial Times Executive Education Open Programmes ranking assesses programmes designed for executives, managers and business leaders seeking to strengthen their strategic, leadership and decision-making capabilities.
The 2026 evaluation includes internationally recognised business schools from the United States, the United Kingdom, continental Europe, China and Latin America. It considers factors such as academic quality, the learning experience, career impact, faculty standards, international diversity and the global reach of each institution’s programmes.
Centrum PUCP’s position places a Peru-based institution alongside established international business schools and expands Latin America’s visibility within a highly competitive global education landscape.
The result is particularly relevant as organisations face accelerated market transformation, increasing volatility and a growing need for leaders capable of making strategic decisions in complex environments. Executive education is consequently being assessed not only by the quality of its academic content, but also by its ability to translate learning into concrete organisational impact.
From 44th to 20th place in two years
