El profesor Behrooz Gharleghi tiene un PhD en economía de la Universidad Kebangsaan Malaysia, una maestría en ciencias económicas de la Universidad Azad de Irán y es Bachiller en Economía de la Universidad de Isfahan en Irán.



Professor Gharleghi ha desempeñado diversos cargos académicos. Ha sido Profesor en la Universidad del Asia Pacífico de Tecnología e Innovación (APU) en Malasia. Asimismo, en la Universidad Linton en Malasia fue profesor de los cursos de metodología de la investigación, micro y macroeconomía y profesor a tiempo parcial en la Universidad Payame Noor en Irán.
