PROFESSORS AND METHOD

Teachers are facilitators of student learning. In the sessions the contents are discussed with the aim that the participants, based on their experience in senior management, exchange opinions and / or interact in debates controlled by each teacher. During the sessions, case studies are developed that have been previously selected; the participants present their points of view and the decisions that they, in the role of a senior manager or CEO, would have taken in those cases. The training is completed with international courses and visits to commercial areas.

The Executive Global MBA CENTRUM Tulane understands in its curricular structure the areas of Strategy and Leadership, Finance, Marketing and Operations. To pass the program, you must satisfactorily complete these subjects, prove your English proficiency, and also support and pass a thesis.

CENTRUM PUCP may make changes in the curriculum, or sequence of courses or teachers, according to its policy of continuous improvement. Failure to comply with the required quorum CENTRUM PUCP reserves the right to postpone the start of courses and programs.

      You will be able to master the concepts and fundamentals of accounting / financial transactions to be suitably used in planning, control and management decision-making, and to interpret and analyze the economic and financial situation of a company.

    • Strategic Marketing – Global MBA

      You will understand the essence of marketing and will be able to make strategic decisions in the various aspects of marketing: consumer segmentation, products and services, pricing, distribution, communication, and the bases of its overall competitive strategy.

    • Decision Making and Risk Management – Global MBA

      You will enhance your ability to make decisions, which will help you to anticipate and respond effectively to the challenges that executives face in their organizations. You will also be able to assess the quality of strategic decisions when taking them.

    • Negotiations – Global MBA

      Develop negotiation skills among students, knowing the processes and phenomena inherent to all types of business and knowing how to prepare a negotiation strategy.

    • Finance for Executives – Global MBA

      You will be able to design and implement financial strategies that lead to the optimization of the results of financial management, taking as a starting point the valuation of the various alternatives of the different financial markets.

    • Managerial Economics for the Global Executive – Global MBA

      You will understand the economic environment and its evolution. You will understand economic policies and their impact on the economic environment of the company as well as the impact of the international economy on the domestic economy.

    • Business Initiatives in Europe: Culture, Economy and Trade – Global MBA

      You will understand the essential cultural and economic aspects to conduct business in Europe, being able to identify and design international business opportunities based on creativity and innovation.

    • Research Methodology

      The course develops in students the ability to conduct research using the scientific method in subjects related to the business environment. Students must demonstrate increased knowledge in their field of research, developing skills in the review of literature, research design and the analysis of results.

  • TERM IV

    • Entrepreneurial Dynamics of Business – Global MBA

      You will learn to take financial decisions in uncertain environments, analyze and interpret the financial environment and its dangers, select the best financing alternatives, choose the structures of capital that maximize value for the shareholders and use analytical tools for decision making.

    • Business Initiatives in Latin America: International Trade Opportunities – Global MBA

      You will understand the essential cultural and economic aspects of doing business in Latin America, being able to identify and design international business opportunities based on creativity and innovation.

    • International Marketing – Global MBA

      You will develop the ability to make marketing decisions in an international context, efficiently applying the concepts and techniques of international marketing in your organization, diagnosing and managing commercial and marketing initiatives in different geographical and cultural contexts and analyzing how and when to apply international marketing techniques.

    • Industrial Organizations and Technology – Global MBA

      You will be able to understand the functioning of markets, analyzing their structure, the behavior of firms and the interaction among them.       You will be able to understand the functioning of international financial markets, understanding the global aspects of the foreign exchange markets, international risk management, international finance, options, swaps, futures, etc.

    • Thesis Seminar I

      Field Research: The work module comprises a series of activities that will help the doctoral student in the design of the sample and in the systematic collection of the data that will be used in his doctoral research. This module looks up to achieve the following objectives: define the specific population for the research study, operationally define the terms that will be used in the research, review the variables to be measured, establish the sampling frame, design the sample, prepare documentation about the informed consent and confidentiality of information, and apply techniques related to data collection.

      You will develop the ability to think strategically, assess the advantages of strategic thinking and process, evaluate the critical aspects of global and strategic leadership, and know the possible attributes of leadership such as critical thinking, domains of personality, emotional intelligence, and ethics.

      You will understand the concepts, tools and strategies of the supply chain and be able to recognize the factors involved in its development and implementation. You will formulate and identify successful strategies for the development and implementation of the supply chain within your organization. You will apply creative solutions to problems in the supply chain.

      You will understand how to apply the concepts of corporate social responsibility in organizations, being able to analyze and reflect decision-making from the perspective of ethics, permitting students to practice in undertaking an ethical stance that gives them dignity and guides their economic action as agents of change and promoters of business competitiveness and sustainability.

    • International Financial Instruments – Global MBA

      You will be able to understand the functioning of international financial markets, understanding the global aspects of the foreign exchange markets, international risk management, international finance, options, swaps, futures, etc.

    • Competing in the Interconnected Global Arena – Global MBA

      You will understand basic concepts of digital and e-businesses that will enable you to gain a competitive advantage in the current environment. You will be able to identify business opportunities in different industries throughout the virtual world. You will understand the operation and advantages of electronic business between companies and between companies and consumers.

    • Thesis

      The course reviews the procedure to be followed throughout this stage of the thesis development, regarding both administrative and academic issues. On the other hand, it helps students understand the structure of each of the thesis sections, and demonstrate this on the building of their document. Also it provides feedback on how to apply the tools leading to the final presentation.

The process of admission to the CENTRUM Tulane Global MBA is open throughout the year. Your application is processed in about two weeks, provided that you deliver the documents requested by the Office of Admissions. The process is completed with an interview for which we will contact you.

Requirements

  • Have duly accredited bachelor degree
  • Seven or more years of experience in executive or managerial positions.
  • Be at least 30 years old at the start of the admission process.
  • Accredit your level of Intermediate English language through Certificate or Diploma from the following institutions, ICPNA, British, EUROIDIOMAS, Católica Languages, TOEFL, TOEIC, CAMBRIDGE, not older than 3 years. The result of such evaluation is solely and exclusively referential.
  • Pass the managerial profile assessment.
  • Have a favorable outcome in the personal interview.

Documents required to be called for an entrance exam

  • Fill out the Registration Form: Registration for Admission.
  • Photocopy of Bachelor degree.
  • Simple copy of the National Identity Document – DNI (both sides), or Foreigner’s Card or Passport, in the case of foreign applicants.
  • Undocumented Curriculum Vitae in English.
  • Go to the following link to Pay the Admission Fee and attach the print / screenshot or scanned copy of the payment voucher.
  • Proof of the registration the bachelor’s degree in the National Superintendency of Higher Education University (SUNEDU) for applicants who studied in Peru. If the university has not registered the academic degree or college diploma in SUNEDU, the applicant must submit a copy of the diploma or academic degree authenticated by the university that issued it (*). If the applicant has studied abroad, he must submit a notarized copy of his degree. (*) It is indispensable that during their studies, and before their completion, they submit the record of the registration of their bachelor’s degree in SUNEDU, in order to be able to register their future master’s degree to the SUNEDU.

Doctor of Business Administration from Maastricht School of Management, the Netherlands, Doctor of Strategic Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He holds a Master of Philosophy from Maastricht School of Management, a Master’s degree in Top Management and Leadership from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) and Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña. He also holds a Diploma in Nuclear Engineering from the Institute of Nuclear Studies, Spain, a Bachelor’s degree in Naval Science, Peruvian Navy, Specialization design courses of nuclear reactors at the University of Tennessee, USA, and in Strategic Management at University of Belgrano, Argentina.
