Cash management is the management of collection activities, concentration, disbursement, investment and financing activities, as well as the process of dealing with financial risk problems. The first function of treasury management is cash management, which is the corporate process of collecting and managing cash, as well as the use of cash for short-term investments. This makes cash management a key component of a company’s financial stability and solvency. Cash Management Specialization program offers professionals an overview of the modern role and practices of treasurers in cash management, cash forecasting, financing and treasury investment. In addition, you will learn the application of the latest technologies to cash management while complying with a certain set of policies and procedures.

Corporate Treasury: Financial Management and Treasury as a Source of Value Creation
In this course, participants will learn about the treasury function as part of the organizational structure. They will also identify the definition and responsibilities of the treasury function as a source of value creation in organizations and will develop the Treasury Policies and procedures.

Cash Management
In this course the working capital, seasonality and cycles will be reviewed. Temporary current assets and permanent revolving funds. Financial cycle as a lever for growth. Floating positive and negative. Techniques to generate liquidity. Credit, prompt payment discount and collection. The optimal cash balance and models. Inventory management with a focus on liquidity. Success stories in managing working capital. Short-term planning: The cash flow statement and the projected cash flow.

Strategic Treasury
To achieve the design of optimal strategies in Treasury Management, the Risks surrounding the treasury function must be known: Market risks (interest rate risk, FX risk, etc.) Liquidity risk. Credit risk. Operative risk. Risk map. Risk coverage: Forwards, Swaps, Options, Real guarantees, Guarantee insurance. Likewise, it is also essential to identify the sources of Financing: Financial markets. Components of the short and long term interest rate. The ratings or risk rating of issuers and their instruments. Short-term debt financial instruments and long-term financial instruments. In the same way, the theme related to Investments such as Investment options in the direct and indirect intermediation system. And ending with the International Treasury Management: Methods: Cash Pooling, Netting, Notional Cash Pooling. Selection of the international bank (RFP) and Swift as well as soft negotiation techniques to ensure financing in the company.

Master in Strategic Business Administration, Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. B.A. in Graphic Arts, Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. She has international certifications among which stand out: CPCL Harvard Business School, Boston, USA; International Master in Leadership EADA Business School, Barcelona, Spain; Executive Program Customer Experience IE Business School, Madrid, Spain; International Program for Board Members EADA Business School, Barcelona, Spain. To date she is a member of the “Steering Committee” of the EFMD Americas Conference 2019-2021.

She has been Corporate Image Manager of Unique-Yanbal International for Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Mexico and USA; Marketing Manager of Unique-Peru. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Comacsa, a leading non-metallic mining company in Peru, and a board member of Fundición Americana S.A.
