ADVANTAGE

  • Modern Curriculum
  • International first level networking

Due to globalization, the world’s needs have changed in both quality and quantity for almost everything a country or region can supply. To reach a certain level of production, until a few decades, many organizations did not take into account the impact they generated in the environment over the long term, not mitigating the effects or anticipating the time that nature needs to restore what is consumed. The concept of Corporate Social Responsibility was born as a response to the needs and complaints of interested parties to preserve both nature and society. The awareness of both organizations and society has led companies to try to achieve Sustainable Development Management to design and develop solutions to future problems and crises that involve nature and society. In our country, the implementation of these solutions is minimal or non-existent in several stages since the government has a reactive management and few regulations against the global trend.

Soft Skills: Leadership, Teamwork and Communication
Implementing sustainability means articulating all the departments of a company and engaging senior executives. Therefore, this course aims to develop soft skills among the participants, such as leadership, work team, empathy and communication skills that are key to achieving a successful implementation of the sustainability strategy, as it will allow the integration and commitment of all the areas of the organization towards a sustainable approach, leading the change of culture towards the preservation of the environment.

Fundamentals of Finance for Sustainable Management
One of the many problems of sustainability initiatives is to understand the relationship between social, ethical, environmental and corporate governance initiatives and the financial performance of a company. Although there are no tools that measure this relationship, it is important that sustainability professionals understand what matters to the CEO, the CFO and investors and speak the same language. This course will focus on these issues. It is also important to know the financial tools that have an approach to this challenge, such as SROIM (Social return on investment) and Impact investment (investments made with the intention of generating a positive and measurable social and environmental impact along with a financial return)

Context of National Reality
This course aims to understand the many aspects of environmental and social challenges in the Peruvian context, which means understanding national reality from an anthropological point of view. Understanding the social, cultural, economic and environmental aspects of current reality (including the background) would help the professional to develop better and long-term solutions when considering all these aspects.

ASG Risk Management: Environmental, Social and Governance
Companies face an evolving landscape of emerging risks related to the environment, society and governance, such as safety product recalls, worker deaths, child labor, polluting spills and chain disruption of climate-related supply, which can affect the profitability, reputation, success of a company and even survival. COSO and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development have developed governance and business risk management processes to support the identification, evaluation and mitigation of risks related to environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG). This course aims to understand this model to assess ESG risks.

Innovation Management for Sustainability
Innovation for sustainability means responding and meeting business and society needs in a better way than today. The key is to manage issues that are material for the company and its stakeholders. These solutions must be durable, replicable, participatory and high impact. This coupon will focus on the most recommended tools to do so, which are Design Thinking and Positive Deviance. Design thinking is a non-linear iterative process that seeks to understand users, challenge assumptions, redefine problems and create innovative solutions for prototypes and tests. Positive deviation is an approach to social and behavioral change based on the observation that in any community there are people whose unusual or successful behaviors or strategies allow them to find better solutions to a problem than their peers, despite facing similar challenges and not have additional resources or knowledge than their peers. These individuals are known as positive deviants.

Management Tools for Sustainability
This course aims to present the most important standards of sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility used by companies and the business environment. These measures evaluate from the entire sustainability management system to specific issues such as human rights, anti-corruption, environmental, among others.

GRI Training
