  • MODULE I

    • Strategic Business Analysis
This course presents the key concepts, tools and principles of strategy formulation and competitive analysis. It deals with management decisions and actions that affect the performance and survival of business enterprises. The course focuses on information, analysis, organizational processes, and business skills and judgment that managers should use to design strategies, position their heirs, define firm boundaries, and maximize long-term profits in the face of uncertainty and competition. In addition, this course will focus on some of the important current issues in strategic management. It will focus on modern analytical approaches and successful and lasting strategic practices. It is consciously designed with a technological and global perspective, as this orientation in many ways highlights significant emerging trends in strategic management. The course is designed to provide students with a pragmatic approach that will guide the formulation and implementation of corporate, business, and functional strategies.
    • Accounting, Taxation and Business Financial Analysis
Accounting and financial information is the reflection of business activities and is the main tool for planning, control and management decisions, socially responsible, to the point of being called the language of business. However, many times it is not an easy language to understand for those who are not directly related to financial information, because it is based on a series of accounting rules and practices that require study in order to understand them. On the other hand, in the course we will also deal with the problems derived from the application of the Income Tax and the General Sales Tax, so that students can make informed decisions regarding the tax implications of the commercial operations they carry out as part of the business, on the occasion of reorganizations and mergers, among others. Topics of interest will be addressed based on theory, practical cases and analysis of pronouncements by the Tax Administration and the Tax Court. The structure of the course is based on the analysis of the different economic operations that a company carries out, in order to verify their implications in the Income Tax and General Sales Tax. The course aims to introduce students to the concepts and principles of financial accounting as a fundamental element for control and management decision-making.
    • Strategic Cost and Budget Management
This course offers an in-depth study of the use of management accounting information for both operational and strategic decision-making purposes. Specifically, management accounting information fulfills two important roles in an organization (1) a decision support function, in which information is used to help employees make better decisions, and (2) a decision influencing function, in which information is used to motivate employees to make desirable decisions. Both roles will be examined in this course through various topics, including cost-volume-benefit analysis, activity-based costing, transfer pricing, budgeting, variance analysis, performance measurement, and performance-based pay.
  • MODULE II

    • Corporate Finance
The administration of financial resources must have a professional management that identifies the main variables to be taken into account in the decision making process of the company. This course provides the general framework for efficient and effective decision making, which involves recognizing the opportunities and needs of the company, the capabilities and financial means to address them, taking into account the cost and risk implications of these decisions. The course emphasizes the decision-making process associated with the financial area, which has as its main objective to maximize the market value of the company. To achieve this objective, the Financial Management must use the concepts, tools and techniques that will be reviewed in this course. For the development of this course, an analysis of the financial decisions is considered both long and short term: Long Term: Investment, Financing and Capital Structure. Short Term: Working Capital Management. Special emphasis will be placed on the analysis of the Peruvian financial market, but the approach will be from a global perspective.
    • Strategic Process Management
Modern times require companies to provide better and better customer service. Competitiveness is marked by the productivity with which it manages its resources and to effectively satisfy these requirements it is necessary to design, implement, control and permanently improve the operational and administrative processes in the organization, in order to enhance the use of infrastructure resources and human capital. In this course, concepts, methods and tools are presented and analyzed that make possible the effective management of processes in the organizations, emphasizing the design, implementation, control and continuous improvement of them. The importance of the client for the design of the process is analyzed, the deployment and representation of the same one is carried out, indicators of efficiency and effectiveness performance are established, tools for the control of the processes are proposed and the standardization of the same ones is developed
    • Human Talent Management Indicators
The course introduces students to the fundamental logic, metrics, analysis and interpretation that are fundamental to human resource analysis. While the emphasis is on applied methodology rather than statistical issues, rigorous methodology regarding human resource metrics will be covered. Strategic management and balanced scorecard (BSC) methodologies will be discussed, as well as survey development, workforce forecasting, and calculation of absenteeism and turnover costs. By the end of the course, students should be able to integrate, analyze, and interpret data to make more information decisions on human resources management.
  • MODULE III

    • Corporate Governance and Compliance
An essential part of a successful organization in the financial services sector is meeting a wide range of specific compliance and risk requirements set out in legislation. Recently, corporate governance and compliance have become more important in the business world. Corporate governance deals with both the internal aspects of a company and the external aspects. Compliance refers to the process by which an organization seeks to ensure that employees and other components comply with applicable regulations. This course will help participants understand the driving force behind the development of corporate governance over the past two decades, and the importance of corporate governance to the company itself, to directors and shareholders, and to other stakeholders. The course will also introduce you to the ways in which the compliance function is carried out.
    • Balanced ScoreCard
In recent decades, organizations have realized that success cannot only be measured in monetary terms. Intangible assets (such as a company’s reputation, the knowledge base created by its employees, and training initiatives) can constitute a large part of a company’s wealth. It only makes sense, then, that we need a new tool to help us measure this expanded definition of success. The Balanced Scorecard as a tool and its related components will help your organization identify, document, plan, and execute a balanced strategic mission. It will also help your organization assess and review its strategic execution. This course presents the core elements and practical experiences of applying what has been considered the most important breakthrough in strategic management in the last three decades. The Balanced Scorecard allows solving the most frequent problems in the implementation of a strategy. Namely, proper understanding of strategy at all levels (strategic alignment), focusing activities and resources on what is important for business success. Finally, it allows to permanently testing the quality of the strategy, providing an excellent method for performance evaluation and monitoring.
