The International Study Diploma in Information Management and Business Analytics comprises three modules, in which basic and advanced concepts in operations management are developed. To pass the program, you must successfully complete the subjects at CENTRUM PUCP and EADA Business School

  • MODULE I

    • Statistics and Data Analysis
      This course will present the tools necessary to transform data into useful information for decision making under situations of uncertainty. Emphasis is placed on the development of knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis and evaluation competencies of statistical methods that will allow the student to improve his ability to think in statistical terms. This course seeks to raise awareness among the participant of the importance of measuring and correct interpretation of KPIs as management indicators for management decision making.
    • Strategic Management of Information
      The course is theoretical-practical in nature and aims to enable the student to understand how to integrate information and information technologies of organizations together with organizational strategies. It includes the following topics: (a) strategic planning of information technologies and their relationship with organizational strategic planning, (b) the generation of financial value of information technologies, (c) technical standards related to technology management of information, (d) innovation management, (e) knowledge management, (f) introduction to business analytics and (g) introduction to Big Data.
    • Management of Data in Organizations
      In a globalized world and thanks to the continuous development of information technologies, there has been a radical change in the treatment of information which demands efficient data management for better use in organizations to make their decisions . The course Provides the basic concepts and skills necessary to analyze and organize the data of organizations, as well as use organized data to respond to a variety of business inquiries.
  • MODULE II

    • Integrated Information Systems in Business – EADA Business School
      The Integrated Information Systems in the company course integrates a set of information technologies such as SRM (Supplier Relationship Management), ERP (Enterprise Resouces Planning) and CRM (Customer Relatioship Management); and in a CROSS way, the BRM (Business Relationship Management). This course naturally facilitates the understanding of the information that is administered throughout the supply chain for the End-to-End (Supplier (Supplier) to Customer (Customer)) processes. The processes of Suppliers and Storage, Manufacturing, Distribution and Customers (Demand) are worked on in this course, which is the basis for exploiting the information that crosses the entire supply chain with the analytical tools that are in the Supply Chain Analytics course . It is a mandatory requirement to be able to follow the course of Supply Chain Analytics. This course is taught by EADA.
    • Process Optimization and Business Analytics
      It is essential for companies to continuously understand and optimize their processes in order to maintain the quality of their products and services and therefore to accelerate and maximize the expected business results. The course covers the basics of optimization and heuristic search with an emphasis on process improvement and optimization. Emphasis is placed on the application of mathematical optimization models and the use of algorithms. While the skills developed in this course can be applied to a wide range of business problems, students’ examples and practical exercises will focus on the following areas: Logistics and Supply Chain Optimization, Financial Capital Budgets, Management of Assets, Customer Portfolio Analysis. Most student exercises will involve the use of Microsoft Excel’s “Solver” add-on package for mathematical optimization and other business analytics software such as R Statistical Software, SPSS, MATLAB, SAS
    • Data Storage and Business Intelligence
      Data warehousing (DWH) is the central element that collects, integrates and makes sense of the discovery of knowledge – for the data of an organization. Business intelligence (BI) cares about the full range of analytical applications and how they are delivered to users. Each of these areas is fundamentally different in its characteristics such as: – business model, data architecture and technical tools of other traditional forms of database and applications. Together they form the modern basis of business analytics (BA) and decision making in today’s organizations. The course focuses on the design and management of data warehousing (DWH) and business intelligence systems (business intelligence (BI)). The course is theoretical-practical in nature and is intended for the student to understand how to implement business intelligence systems for the improvement of business processes. It includes the following topics: (a) analytical data structures, (b) performance management and visualization, (c) analytical marketing and (d) business intelligence applications to business processes.
  • MODULE III

    • Supply Chain Analytics
      It is one of the fastest growing business models for the areas of business intelligence application, where participants will understand how optimization and data-based decisions are improving financial results, inventory levels, product availability, supplier performance, warehouse efficiency, customer service levels and the operational performance of world-class supply chains. Later they will learn that tactical and strategic problems surround the design and operation of the supply chain, development of the supply chain with analytical skills to solve real-life problems, and the teaching of a wide range of methods and tools – in the areas of prediction, descriptive and prescriptive analytics to efficiently manage supply networks and demand.
    • Digital Marketing and Web Analytics
      The Digital Marketing and WEB Analytics course allows you to successfully assume commercial and marketing responsibility in today’s environments, which integrate both digital and interactive media and Social Media Marketing. It will apply analytical methods on the web for visualization by exploration and exposure of data and text mining. It includes the following topics: (a) Introduction to digital marketing and business analysis on the Internet, (b) Generation of digital marketing strategies and (c) Web Analytics for each digital marketing strategy studied in the course.

Professor Rosselló is a Master of Business Administration in General and Strategic Management, Maastricht School of Management, The Netherlands. Master in Strategic Business Administration, Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. B.A. in Graphic Arts, Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. She has international certifications among which stand out: CPCL Harvard Business School, Boston, USA; International Master in Leadership EADA Business School, Barcelona, Spain; Executive Program Customer Experience IE Business School, Madrid, Spain; International Program for Board Members EADA Business School, Barcelona, Spain. To date she is a member of the “Steering Committee” of the EFMD Americas Conference 2019-2021.

She has been Corporate Image Manager of Unique-Yanbal International for Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Mexico and USA; Marketing Manager of Unique-Peru.
