The International Business Diploma in Retail Management comprises three modules, in which basic and advanced concepts in retail management are developed. To pass the program, you must successfully complete the subjects in CENTRUM PUCP.

Point of Sale and Visual Merchandising
In this course, point of sale and visual merchandising elements will be seen as strategic and technical tools to improve visualization through location, customer service and customer experience that motivate the purchase and increase the profitability of the products. Likewise, the types of planogram and how to design them according to the needs of the store will be analyzed.

Talent Management in Retail
In retail talent management we will review the recruitment process, selection criteria and incorporation process for the appropriate personnel according to the retail business model. Personal growth issues will also be addressed and we will analyze the motivation of the company’s talent.

Assortment and Category Management
In category management and assortment, the administration process of each of the business product categories will be studied, reviewing the management of brands, price and negotiation with suppliers. These tools address the optimization of retail management in a framework of not simply addressing the needs of the consumer, but of presenting a product and captivating the attention of this.

Logistics and Supply Chain Management in Retail
We will review theoretical and practical aspects of inventory management and warehouse distribution by analyzing the process, planning, execution and control of the logistics of companies in the retail sector.

Consumer Behavior – Shopper Marketing
Understanding the needs of the consumer and how he articulates his process of consumption is a key process to design the offer of the company’s products. Therefore, we will review elementary concepts such as consumer segmentation and positioning, branding, advertising, pricing strategy and product communication strategies.

Finance Applied to Retail
The professional who works in the retail sector must understand beyond seeing if the numbers of his products increase, he must review financial indicators such as ROE, inventory turnover, average collection days, payment and inventory for each of his product lines and optimize understanding, analyzing and restructuring their product lines according to performance.

E-Commerce and Omnichannel
At present, businesses in general have updated their trends, continue to do so and will continue to do so perpetually. The retail sector presents even greater challenges in digitalization, e-commerce and the tools and challenges presented by the digital world such as web pages, mobile phones and the harmony between them and the physical point of sale.

Future of Retail: Digital Transformation Applied to Retail (Trip to EADA)
We will analyze the disruptors in the world and the disruptors that are going to change the retail business in tomorrow. It is necessary to analyze the cases of Amazon or Alibaba that present new operation models that outline to give a new twist to how we do business today. He wonders if it is enough to just keep up with the new technologies. This course will be taught by EADA.

The strategic implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility requires the knowledge and effective application of techniques and tools that facilitate the relationship with stakeholders and allow the entrepreneur to move from theory to practice with ethical and sustainable results.

In this context, the course seeks that the participant know the main aspects in the management of relations with his stakeholders with a view to their strategic management for the achievement of ethical and sustainable development.

The process of admission to the International Business Diploma in Retail Management is open throughout the year. Your application is processed in approximately two weeks, as long as you comply with the documents requested by the Admission Office.

Requirements

  • One or more years of experience in executive or corporate positions.
  • Complete the registration form.
  • Simple copy of the National Identity Document – DNI (both sides), or Foreigner’s Card or Passport, in the case of foreign applicants.
  • Currículum Vite (not documented) and a scanned photo (passport size, resolution not less than 300 dpi, suit and tie, white backing).

Clara Rosselló

Professor Rosselló is a Master of Business Administration in General and Strategic Management, Maastricht School of Management, The Netherlands. Master in Strategic Business Administration, Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. B.A. in Graphic Arts, Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. She has international certifications among which stand out: CPCL Harvard Business School, Boston, USA; International Master in Leadership EADA Business School, Barcelona, Spain; Executive Program Customer Experience IE Business School, Madrid, Spain; International Program for Board Members EADA Business School, Barcelona, Spain. To date she is a member of the “Steering Committee” of the EFMD Americas Conference 2019-2021.

She has been Corporate Image Manager of Unique-Yanbal International for Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Mexico and USA; Marketing Manager of Unique-Peru. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Comacsa, a leading non-metallic mining company in Peru, and a board member of Fundición Americana S.A.
