The International Business Diploma in Business Analytics and Information Management comprises three modules, in which basic and advanced concepts are developed. To pass the program, you must successfully complete the subjects.

  • MODULE I

    • Statistical Methods in Business
      The course presents the use of statistical models and graphs used for inference and prediction. The emphasis of the course is on the learning capacity of algorithms and their application to various business areas.
    • Strategic Management of Information
      Within an organizational context IT, specialists must remain aware of the strategic objectives of the business, recognize opportunities for transformation and change; plan and engage with the organization by ensuring that factors and other elements are directly related to technology, and that they include the constraints of sociological and human management. The course equips participants with skills and knowledge required to assess business needs in terms of Information Systems (IS) and propose as IS can be used to enable organizations to meet their strategic objectives.
    • Management of Data in Organizations
      In a globalized world and thanks to the continuous development of information technologies, there has been a radical change in the treatment of information, which demands efficient data management for better use in organizations to make their decisions. The course provides the basic concepts and skills necessary to analyze and organize the data of organizations, as well as use organized data to respond to a variety of business inquiries.
  • MODULE II

    • Integrated Information System
      The Company Integrated Information System course naturally fits after the Strategic Information Management course, and develops all its content from a holistic and business vision of the selection, implementation and assurance of the quality of integrated information systems. Here, SRM (Supplier Relationship Management), ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) are integrated; and cross, the BRM (Business Relationship Management). This course naturally facilitates the understanding of information that is managed throughout the supply chain for End-to-End processes (Supplier to Customer). The Suppliers and Storage, Manufacturing, Distribution and Customers (Demand) processes; are being worked on in this course, which is the basis for exploiting the information that traverses the entire supply chain with the analytical tools that are taught in the Supply Chain Analytics course. It is a mandatory requirement to be able to follow the Supply Chain Analytics course.
    • Process Optimization and Business Analytics
      The course covers the basics of optimization and heuristic search with an emphasis on process improvement and optimization. Emphasis is placed on applying mathematical models of optimization and using algorithms. While the skills developed in this course can be applied to a wide range of business problems, students’ examples and hands-on exercises will focus on the following areas: Logistics and Supply Chain Optimization, Financial Capital Budgets, Asset Management, Client Portfolio Analysis. Most student exercises will involve the use of Microsoft Excel “Solver” package add-on for mathematical optimization and other business analytics software such as R Statistical Software, SPSS, MATLAB, and SAS.
    • Data Storage and Business Intelligence
      Data warehousing (DWH) is the central element that collects, integrates and makes sense of knowledge discovery—for an organization’s data. Business intelligence (BI) cares about the full range of analytics applications and how they are delivered to users. Each of these areas is fundamentally different in its characteristics such as: – business model, data architecture and technical tools of other traditional forms of database and applications. Together they form the modern foundation of business analytics (BA) and decision-making in today’s organizations. The course focuses on the design and management of data warehouses (DWH) and business intelligence (BI) systems.
  • MODULE III

    • Supply Chain Analytics
      In this course, you will learn the use and application of quantitative methods in the supply chain, allowing the organization to develop lasting competitive advantages based on intelligent and predictive processes. You’ll learn the role of analytics in customer planning and service, inventory optimization, distribution and transportation network processes, risk management, decision models embedded in real-time decision execution systems, segment-adjusted customer segmentation and supply chains, analytics applied to queues and wait lines, quality and processes, among other topics.
    • Digital Marketing and Web Analytics
      The Digital Marketing and WEB Analytics course allows you to successfully assume commercial and marketing responsibility in today’s environments, which integrate both digital and interactive media and Social Media Marketing. You will apply web analytical methods for viewing by data exploration and exposure and text mining.

Summary of the Course:

The company’s role in sustainable development is based on achieving successful results in the economic, environmental and social fields. The relationship of the company with its various stakeholders is essential to achieve these results, with the proper management being that allows the company to grow the business in harmony with the environment and the society in which the company interacts.

The strategic implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility requires the knowledge and effective application of techniques and tools that facilitate the relationship with stakeholders and allow the entrepreneur to move from theory to practice with ethical and sustainable results.

In this context, the course seeks that the participant know the main aspects in the management of relations with his stakeholders with a view to their strategic management for the achievement of ethical and sustainable development.

Professor Rosselló is a Master of Business Administration in General and Strategic Management, Maastricht School of Management, The Netherlands. Master in Strategic Business Administration, Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. B.A. in Graphic Arts, Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. She has international certifications among which stand out: CPCL Harvard Business School, Boston, USA; International Master in Leadership EADA Business School, Barcelona, Spain; Executive Program Customer Experience IE Business School, Madrid, Spain; International Program for Board Members EADA Business School, Barcelona, Spain. To date she is a member of the “Steering Committee” of the EFMD Americas Conference 2019-2021.

She has been Corporate Image Manager of Unique-Yanbal International for Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Mexico and USA; Marketing Manager of Unique-Peru. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Comacsa, a leading non-metallic mining company in Peru, and a board member of Fundición Americana S.A.
