Professor Iñiguez holds a PhD in Law, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration, IE Business School, Spain. He is a recognized student in Jurisprudence, University of Oxford, United Kingdom (Fleming Scholar), and has an undergraduate degree in Law with honors from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain.



Professor Santiago Iñiguez is the President at IE University. He has been the Director of External Relations at Instituto de Empresa, and an Associate Consultant at the Institute of European Studies in Spain. He has a vast experience in the field of quality control and in the development of business administration education in Europe. Professor Iñiguez is a Chairman of the Global Forum for Management Education in Belgium and a member of the AACSB Board of Directors. He is also a member of the awarding body of EQUIS and of the International Advisory Board of AMBA, United Kingdom. He is also member of the Boards at several international business schools, such as: CENTRUM PUCP (PUCP, Peru), Mazars University (France), Jiao Tong University School of Business (China), Renmin University Business School (China), Fundaçao Getulio Vargas (Brazil) and the Presidential Academy of Russia. He has been described by the Financial Times as “one of the most significant figures in the international promotion of European schools”. He is co-editor of, a blog focused on the education of managers and entrepreneurs. Professor Iñiguez regularly participates in international conferences and frequently writes in the media and in academic journals.



Professor Iñiguez has published a book that addresses the contribution of business schools to the styles of management:

Professor Iñiguez currently is the Dean at IE Business School; President at IE University; President of the IE Fund in the United States, and Distinguished Visiting Professor at CENTRUM PUCP Business School.
