Professor Espinoza is a DBA candidate, Doctor of Business Administration from Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands, and a PhD candidate, Strategic Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He holds a Master of Philosophy from Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands, a Master’s Degree in Strategic Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a major in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería, Peru. He has completed graduate studies in several fields, such as: Systems Analysis at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, courses at IBM Systems Research Institute, Brazil, and consulting studies at IBM’s Advanced Business Institute in Palisades, USA. Professor Espinoza is certified by TalentSmart Inc., United States, to provide emotional intelligence workshops. He holds the “Five-Factor Model of Personality” certificate issued by the Center for Applied Cognitive Studies, United States. He also completed the Colloquium on Participant Centered Learning (CPCL) at Harvard Business School, United States.



Professor Espinoza has worked at IBM Corporation as a Principal Consultant for IBM Latin America in the area of Human Capital Management, with an emphasis on the design of competency models, coaching, corporate learning strategies, organizational change management, and e?Learning. In the IBM Consulting Group, in conjunction with his human capital specialization, he provided consulting services in the areas of business transformation and process re-engineering in the Andean countries. Professor Espinoza has provided consulting services to several companies, such as: International Labour Organization (Regional Office), IFC/World Bank (Lima and Colombia), PDVSA (Venezuela), Antamina, Yanacocha, Ransa, Petroperú, Unique-Yanbal, Almacenes Éxito (Colombia), ANSES (Argentina), Banco de la República Oriental del Uruguay (Uruguay), Backus Corporation, Transportes 77, Ardila Lülle Group (Colombia), Laive, Sodexo, AFP Integra, Instituto Libertad y Democracia (Hernando De Soto), Química Suiza, Banco Itaú (Brazil), IPAE, OWIT, National Fisheries Association, Santa Isabel, among others.



Professor Espinoza is the author of the chapter: “Liderazgo nacional y empresarial: Una tarea impostergable (National and business leadership: An urgent task)” in the book “Rutas hacia un Perú mejor, qué hacer y cómo lograrlo” (Editorial Aguilar, 2010). He has written articles related to management and information technologies in Gestión newspaper.



He currently is the Head and Professor at the Strategy, Leadership and Management department at CENTRUM Católica Graduate Business School.
