Professor Jorge Peña holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree from Maastricht School of Management, The Netherlands, a Doctorate in Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru, and a Master of Philosophy from Maastricht School of Management, The Netherlands. He also holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Business Administration, Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Professor Peña holds the following certifications: Global Leadership Certified, Thunderbird School of Management, USA. Project Management Professional Certified (PMP -u2018), Project Management Institute, USA. Google Certified Educator by Google for Education, EEUU. Leadership Presencing Foundation Program, The Presencing Institute affiliated with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), EEUU.
Professor Peña has more than 20 years of professional experience in leading international and national organizations. He has been Project Manager at IBM Peru, Business and Administration Deputy Manager at Hermes Transportes Blindados. Senior Analyst of Corporate Projects at Belcorp. Senior Corporate Technology Analyst at Kraft Foods Peru. Regional Administrator in Nabisco. He has been the leader of multifunctional and multicultural teams developing projects in different countries in Latin America, USA and Europe. In the academic field, he has more than seven years of experience as lecturer of graduate programs at CENTRUM PUCP Business School, where he has been Director of Master Programs (MBA and specialized master), Academic Secretary of graduate programs, and Head of the academic area of Strategy and Leadership. Specialist in topics related to leadership, management; planning, control and implementation of logistics and supply chains.
