DEGREES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Professor Díaz holds a PhD in Finance and a Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance from University of Wales, United Kingdom. He also holds a Master’s degree in Risk from EALDE, Spain. He is a Chartered Banker MBA, from University of Wales, United Kingdom. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from ESAN, Peru, and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
Professor Díaz has been the President of the Board of Directors and Executive Chairman of the National Bank of Peru. He has also been the President of the Board of the Electronic Clearing House system (CCE), Deputy Superintendent at the National Superintendency of Tax Administration (SUNAT), and Director General of the public treasury at the Ministry of Economy and Finance. He is a consultant to the International Monetary Fund. Professor Díaz has taught at several Peruvian universities, such as Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, ESAN, and Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
