DEGREES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Professor Carlos Bazán holds a Masters degree in Strategic Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Perú, and an undergraduate degree in Marine Sciences from the Peruvian Naval Academy. He has also completed specialization courses in Mechanical-Electrical and Electronics Control Systems in the Peruvian Naval Academy and Attila Monteiro Ache School in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is a certified Internal Auditor of the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System and completed the Colloquium on Participant Centered Learning program at Harvard Business School, United States.
Professor Bazán has been a Logistics Manager in the private sector, Assistant Officer to the Minister of Defense, General Secretary at SIMA-PERU, Commander of the Ucayali Naval Station, Integral Formation Officer at the Peruvian Naval Academy, Head of submarines systems, as well as other operational and administrative positions in the Peruvian Navy. He has been involved in international missions, several activities in Brazil, Ecuador, and has worked with the U.S. Atlantic Fleet. Professor Bazán has taught at the Peruvian Naval Academy.
He currently is the Head of Master’s degrees programs and Professor at the Strategy, Leadership, and Management department at CENTRUM PUCP Business School.
